The government is planning to make face-sitting in porn illegal. Here’s why you should care

First they came for your money, next they came for your smut.

As if Brexit hadn’t done enough damage, Britain’s pledge to cut ties with the EU in 2019 now means that European laws protecting free access to porn have been lifted. The government will now curb streaming of certain porn content, including face sitting and female ejaculation.

Eye-rolling turned to outrage when it became clear that a lot of the restrictions were on scenarios where women portray dominant positions.

Not only is this a blatant use of censorship but it will adversely affect porn stars and businesses who are already struggling to stay afloat in the digital arena.

We took to the streets to find out what the public thought about the new laws.

Adding insult to injury, the plans were first brought into motion by the orange-faced pig-banger himself, David Cameron. Clearly Eton favours bestiality over a bit of harmless face sitting.

It has many in the industry wondering where is left to go and how independent production companies will combat the restrictions. Tech-savvy porn watchers will inevitably turn to BitTorrent et al. meaning the laws will serve only to criminalise the public it’s aiming to “protect”.

Many porn stars and producers have spoken out against the government’s actions.
